From I-45 -- School Buses, RVs, large wheel base vehicles
- Take exit 116 on I-45.
- Turn EAST at the stop light. (Highway 30 aka 11th St.)
- Turn SOUTH on Sam Houston Ave. (At the courthouse square; about a mile.)
- The museum is about a mile south of the Courthouse. There's some parking there, but we suggest you turn WEST on 19th street and continue to the Walker Education Center — there's more parking & that's where we can show you the introductory film that tells the story of Sam Houston's life.
Stop in, say, "Hi," and have a great time!
