Thanks to donations from the SHSU Agriculture Alumni Association, the Vice-President for Academic Affairs and many others who have donated to the cause over the years, the department is the proud owner of a new 15-passenger Ford van. With contributions from the Alumni Association and Vice-President Dr. David Payne's willingness to match the outside donation, the purchase was made last winter. Due to delays at the manufacturing plant, the van was not delivered until May. The old clunker is still being used on occasion, but it will be retired soon.
